Legal Cashier

Its hard work behind the scenes is instrumental to maintaining our strong reputation. Due to exciting growth, we are looking for a Legal Cashier to join us on a full time basis.

Have you had some experience with financial transactions which has sparked your interest in a career in finance? As we continue to grow as a firm, our finance department are only getting busier which has led to a brand new opportunity in our Bristol office. You'll provide vital support within the Client Account Team, in addition to the wider finance department.

In this team of 4 (including yourself) you'll assist with client transactions in and out of various accounts ensuring accurate and prompt allocation. You'll be monitoring transactions into multiple bank accounts, reviewing and setting up bank payments, dealing with transaction requests and more. Outside of your key duties you'll also support the rest of the finance team such as verifying and processing disbursements.

And if in the future you're keen to learn about other areas in finance, or perhaps even look to qualify, the support will be there for you.

So who are we hoping will apply?

You'll have some previous experience working with financial transactions in an office environment. Perhaps you are currently a Legal Cashier looking for a new challenge, or maybe you have had some dealings with finance as part of your role and would like to pursue a career in this area. Whatever your motivation, your friendly and positive attitude will fit right in with the team.

Although familiarity of working in a law firm will be beneficial, it's not essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as solid IT skills, in particular MS Excel will surely help you hit the ground running.
