Our solicitors in Henleaze provide legal advice that's free from jargon teamed with transparency on fees. Our commercial approach ensures our clients receive the best possible service at the best possible rate. From our Henleaze office, our private client team offer a range of legal services which includes residential conveyancing and we’re now looking to recruit a Paralegal to support that conveyancing process.
Could this be your next career move?
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your knowledge of not just residential conveyancing but also private client and probate matters as with guidance from a qualified solicitor you'll be responsible for not just the opening of client files but also the day to day contact with the clients on pre-exchange and post exchange work. Your role will be of paramount importance as you progress and follow up on time critical exchanges and/or completions. Using the firm's case management system you'll become familiar with compliance procedures for letters of engagement, file opening, money laundering, archiving, billing and client accounts.
You'll also be the face of front of house as you meet and greet potential clients and assess their legal needs with a view to us being instructed. And you'll take responsibility for managing the office facilities, making sure the environment is safe, comfortable and fit for purpose, with stationery and refreshments fully stocked.

We offer a competitive salary, contribute to your pension pot, offer holiday allowance that increases on a year's employment, give you private healthcare and life assurance, offer a range of discounts with local businesses and with so many excellent internal training programmes on offer to everyone it's so easy to develop and improve your skills.
We’re passionate about creating an inclusive workplace that promotes and values diversity, we're striving to create an environment where everyone, regardless of background, can reach their full potential.
So who are we hoping will apply?
We’re definitely hoping to hear from candidates with experience of the residential conveyancing process, whether that be from time as a Legal Secretary in a small high street practice or from time as a Paralegal in a larger commercial firm.
You may even be someone that's previously worked as a qualified conveyancer before taking time out of your career to focus on family commitments, now looking to get back to doing some interesting legal work where the priority is to be near family and not necessarily on working at the qualified level again.
Whatever your background, it's a busy role so you'll need to be organised, an excellent all-round communicator with proficient IT skills using Microsoft Office. And whilst working in a small team environment means you'll get greater exposure to the process, it also means you'll need at times to be a confident self-starter who can use their initiative when the pressure is on.
